We are all familiar with the images of poverty, a war-torn country that for many years has held the myriad hopes, dreams, and challenges of the Ugandan people. Behind the struggles facing a country trying to rebuild, there is another story unfolding – a story of quiet strength and hope. It is a story of people working together to build an economy from the ground up, and I am proud to say that Awake Microfinance Ltd is positioning itself for a vital role in this effort.
