This pandemic has taken its toll on me. I honestly need a break from this long break. One of the things I have learned about during this period is hair. I love my hair. It keeps me busy. I love Uganda! It's a beautiful country and am so glad we're celebrating 58years of freedom! 🇺🇬
Growing up, I always wanted to travel abroad until I discovered the beauty of Uganda!
The beauty of Uganda inspired my podcast channel 😍.
Uganda is gorgeous and fabulous! Here are some facts about my home country!
1. Its home to the edible rolexes!
2. Its home to the second longest river in the world - River Nile.
3. The beautiful Rwenzori Mountain offers one of the best hikes in the world according to National Geographic.
4. Its home to the second deepest fresh water lake in Africa - Lake Bunyonyi which is also a bird sanctuary! There are over 1000 bird species in Uganda.
5. It has the highest number of the endangered Mountain Gorillas.
6. Uganda is the most ethnically diverse country in the world.
7. According to the African Economist, Ugandans are the most welcoming and friendliest people in Africa.
8. Uganda is home to the highest number of refugees in Africa.
9. Uganda is known as Africa's Tropical Fruit Basket. In fact Uganda grows more bananas than any other nation with an exception of India and China.
10. Uganda has some of the best wilderness on the continent. She has over 1000 bird species, many mountain gorillas, over 350 mammal species in all sizes. Home to the largest land mammal - the African Elephant. Home to the endangered Rothschild Giraffes!

I could go on and on about my home! I guess you now know why Uganda is called the Pearl of Africa!!🇺🇬.
