What happened in Miss Planet International in Uganda? Miss Planet Czech Republic Once, in December, while another pageant was already happening, I was indirectly asked by Missosology to record a short video describing terrors of Miss Plan...

So, let's get back to step by step

Around ~40 contestants were supposed to live in actively promoted entire time. It wasn't stated where the final would be though. If course not in the hotel conference hall, is it 🤭?)

BUT! When the first girls arrived there were told that they wouldn't be living in Speke Resort, but in some apartments in surroundings.

WTF?
But okay, let's see what happens

Next few hours after arrival one of the contestants was waiting with Monica Akech (Uganda's MP host) and some random people in the street, in the night for being finally accommodated.

Based on what was shared with us, the contestant talked to both (on the phone, cause he wasn't there) and and only heard some promises. Reality was that these first apartments hadn't been paid hence their owner didn't want to accommodate anybody just believing somebody's promises.

About 4am, the contestant was pushing consistently to find another apartment asap, cause this wasn't part of the deal and there's nothing nice in being alone in the street with random people after many hours flight.

In the end Monika Akech who "was always somewhere else talking to someone, not telling anything to me" (to the contestant), some apartments were found.

The contestant was the first one to get there, later on other girls joined too.

With all due respect, the place was suitable for group of people or family to have a nice stay. But obviously not for 40 beauty queens and their support, cause they couldn't have proper meal time, nor any activity, nor meetings.

They stayed in total from the 6th of November till the 9th. They haven't been paid yet UP TO THIS DAY. As well as transportation.

After long push and different versions said, contestants found out that Speke Resort was never a sponsor of the event. They expected payment which they never received (déjà vu?) hence, they kicked out everybody.

Them all forced MP and Monica to fix it, even though by that time it was clear, that they tried to scam everybody.

Monika Akech managed to find some new hotel. It felt like breath of fresh air until .... To be continued

As National Director of Ms. Planet in the Philippines, I wish to express my concern that unauthorized persons have appointed representatives to the pageant without my prior consent. I hold the exclusive franchise in the Philippines and have the sole authority to appoint a representative for the Country.

Given the unfortunate circumstances that occurred during the pageant held in Uganda in November 19, 2022, I have decided not to send a representative to the new Ms. Planet to be held in Cambodia this January 29, 2023. I will be constrained to take legal action against any person representing to have authority to send a representative for the Philippines to Ms. Planet without my authority.

This statement is to protect the interest of the public, especially the women who may be misinformed of who has the legal authority to appoint a representative for the Philippines.
