The Whales Rugby Academy

What started as a simple.partnership 2016 has seen what they call.Passion, resilience and determination!.players who started as Tag players have been on a hunt for 10 good years and in their struggle the young women have come.up with the support of Whales to show case what we can all witness.
After 10 years of hunting 1000Hills.Rugby crowned Rwanda Rugby National Championship Winners while their Female side the 1000Hills Queens crowned Champions of the first ever National.15s League.
The 2 Champions are a symbol.of Love and passion and togetherness and The Whales family are so happy to be a part of their growth.

Congratulations 1000 Hills Rugby queens and kings of rugby in Rwanda.

THROUGHBACK THURSDAY
The junior Whales on 4th October visted 1000 Hills Rugby for A test match in preparation for their Upcominh big Audience games.
U17 Girls "BlueWhales" Named in restoration of the 2021 Blue Whales that reigned that time!!
U18 Boys Gray whales the Juniors set to explore both Codes in the Whales Fraternity had the show down.
The Young stars graduation from Tag to Contact proved that they are the Whales Product determined to grow and keep the Acadeny alive.

Call them the Second generation after the 1st with the likes of Ira Isabella, Nirere Lucky, Mutyaba Isaac, Babirye Josephine, Hawa Gimbo, Esther, Mercy Julius Omongin, Shatif Eden, Doreen Kagaza etc.
In a 2 round games 1000hills young stars showed lots of experience while.the Whales young stars build.their confidence to execute game after game!!

It was hope.giving and we cant wait to see then grow every step.of the way.
The test saw gray whales take.the lead 28:24 in a very tight and entertaining contest with 1000hills U18 while.the Blue Whales test challenged them.to a loss 25:5 to the more experinced 1000hills.junior.queens.

We stay hooked to our great development and appreciate the for keeping the great partnership alive.
