*YIELDING TO THE HOLY SPIRIT*
Colossians 2:6 As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so *walk in Him*,
The life of christianity is a life of complete surrender and submission to the government of the Holy Spirit.
The Spirit of God was given to us a senior partner, to enable us to live up to the standards of heaven.
In our theme scripture, we are told that it's not enough to just receive the Lord Jesus, but we also ought to walk in Him. In other words, we are expected to yield to His life in us so as to manifest Him to our world.
The life of christianity can only be experienced by yielding to Holy Spirit. In fact the bible says in Romans 8:9 But you are not living the life of the flesh, you are living the life of the Spirit, if the [Holy] Spirit of God [really] dwells within you [directs and controls you]. *But if anyone does not possess the [Holy] Spirit of Christ, he is none of His [he does not belong to Christ, is not truly a child of God].*
God has given us all things that pertain to life and godliness through this wonderful person of the trinity.
We just need to pay the price for submission, which is the *flesh*.
You cannot yield yourself to the Holy Spirit unless you die to the flesh.
The bible says Galatians 5:17 *For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish*.
The life of Glory in Christ is unlocked everytime we offer our bodies on the altar as a living sacrifice to God. *Glory to God*.

KEEP YOUR GARMENTS ON
Rev 16:15 “Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.”
It’s very important to note that there will be a day when we will all appear before the Lord “On the great judgement day of the Lord” we will give an account of how we lived our lives. The Bible says that “Many of those whose bodies lie dead and buried will rise up, some to everlasting life and some to shame and everlasting disgrace.” Dan 12:2.
Well I believe, it’s very important for all of us to be ready and not be caught off guard especially when he returns to take us home. So that on that day, we will rise up to everlasting life not to shame and disgrace like some. We know how to prepare our selves for dates with our crushes, to prepare for Sunday services, we understand how to dress well to attend wedding parties, but we at times we forget that there is a garment of salvation that each one of us should yearn to have so that when He comes to take his bride, you will not be missing.
When a thief is coming to your house, he doesn’t first send a warning letter, he comes anyway and mostly they come at night. (When men are sleeping). The Bible tells us that just like a thief comes in the night when men are sleeping so will the return of the son of man be like. But blessed are those who have kept their garments on an clean, he comes when they are naked and they are ashamed. When we get born again, we receive a garment of salvation and a robe of righteousness (Isa 61:10). It’s important to check whether you have this garment and having this robe or the garment is stained, full of spots and it’s wearing off.
Do you have this garment of salvation? If not, please say this prayer with me
LORD JESUS I THANK YOU FOR DYING FOR ME ON THE CROSS, I CONFESS WITH MY MOUTH THAT I AM SAVED, FROM TODAY, I ACCEPT YOU AS THE LORD AND SAVIOR OF MY LIFE, FORGIVE MY SINS LORD AMEN.

Not called to Seek Him in Vain
Isa 45: 19 (AMP) I have not spoken in secret, in a corner of the land of darkness; I did not call the descendants of Jacob [to a fruitless service], saying, Seek Me for nothing [but I promised them a just reward]. I, the Lord, speak righteousness (the truth—trustworthy, straightforward correspondence between deeds and words); I declare things that are right.
God has not called you to seek Him in vain, to seek him for nothing, he rewards those who diligently seek Him and for those who seek him, find Him. He is faithful to His own and committed to fulfill every promise to you.
He didn’t call you to seek and not find What you believe Him for. He says “who of you if a son asks for bread, and you give him a stone” and he concludes that is man has the ability to give good gifts to those that love him how about God His maker. He will make that way for you, He will carry you through in this life, he will not put you to shame, He will fight for you and you shall be peaceable. You will get that job, your marriage will stand, your children will study, they will not fall sick, your business will thrive, whatever you do, God shall indeed bless it.
Keep serving, keep ministering for He has not called you to seek him in vain. When the right time comes He will show himself strong in your life.
Prayer
Father in the Name of Jesus we thank you for your goodness, thank you Lord for the assurance in your word, we affirm that we will wait upon you always for in you our eternal rewards are established. Amen

*How Willing and obedient are you?*
_*Isa 1:19 (AMP) If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land;*_
Being willing and obedient to do the Will of God is the foundation of enjoying everything good in this world. Remember God is behind his word to fulfill it. Sometimes things have not come the way we want them because of our unwillingness and disobedience to the Master’s voice.
*God has called us to be his ambassadors here in us and our blessing is in the willingness to follow him and the obedience to his word. He wants to fulfill his mandate here in us through us his people. He will therefore call specific individuals to perform his will. But the extent to which your are willing and obedient will determine how much you eat the good of the Land.*
_Our blessing in this life is conditional upon our level of obedience and service we offer God. When God calls you in Kaberamaido for ministry and you insist on staying in Muyenga, you will miss out on your maiden blessing. Some times we are sluggish and slow to carry out his mandate on earth of course, of course the blessing to eat the good of the land will also take its time._
Questions to think about : What are you doing in regards to the master’s assignment? Are you doing what he called you to do or you are busy cultivating someone’s field. How often do you execute those assignments he gives you?
Prayer
Father May you give us hearts that yield to your call to execute your mandates here in earth. Amen
