Four species, pressed and glued under load, then machined as a single block. Curly Maple carries the outer layers — tight wave figure that opens up under oil. Padauk runs through the centre in orange-red, which deepens to dark brick after finishing. Wenge locks the contrast with near-black grain. Maple ties the centre together.

Every layer runs the full length. Every cut reveals all four. This is how laminate works — not pattern, but composition.

This is walnut: European hardwood, straight grain, warm finish, competition geometry. No resin, no laminate, no mixed species. Just the wood.
