Dive into QA engineering. What is it? And for whom?

The practical course was developed by the trainers of the company Kit.center, together with the QA specialists of IT company ABOUT THE CODE INC. - for all who have already completed any software testing courses, in order to acquire and consolidate practical skills in software testing.

How to join in:
1.to have the certificate of completion of QA courses
2.to be able to devote at least 15 hours of training per week
3.to be in a good mood :)

Testing is very interesting because it gives you an opportunity to try many things and not being stuck with one technology until retirement like software development would do to you. Backend developer stays with Java forever. Isn’t that boring? I like to compare testers to nurses and devs to doctors. One cannot exist without other in a well functioning workplace and both must work closely to avoid patient dying on the table. There are also cases when nurse, working many years, has the same or even greater knowledge than doctor although she will always live in his shadow. That’s test engineer’s faith. You must know that this is a very humble profession — tester is not always appreciated when deserved and in many situations blamed for any f**k ups there can be. That’s because tester is the last person that touches product before the release (except for people responsible for deploying it but that’s a different kind of touching). As soon as you comprehend that you should cover your back you will become a good tester. Covering back is not something bad even though it sounds shady. It’s something positive, teaching you to be responsible for any issues slipping by which in the end can get you a spider sense helping to avoid that. Of course testers are not,probably, terminators — mistakes happen and will be happening. We need to be sure everything that could be detected, was indeed found and stakeholders know about it. They should also know what we did, to assure quality of the software. I mean the process that needs to be perfected every iteration and all testers need to understand it. For me, there are 2 layers of software testing job: testing and organizing the testing (managing is a whole different story, somewhere above those 2). Organizing probably is not something a junior QA occupies his head with but it’s a best way to stop being junior and get to a regular level although I will not be talking about it in this post.
