Manul

Manul has a rather peculiar appearance. The manul has short and thick legs, and the body as a whole looks massive due to the lush fur. The tail is evenly broad and fluffy, with a rounded tip. Manul lives on a vast but fragmented territory in Asia: from western Iran and Armenia, in Central Asia and in some regions of Russia, to Transbaikalia, Mongolia and Tibet. The total number is estimated at 58 thousand individuals, the largest population lives on the territory of Mongolia.
