Entilata Resource Team Center started in 2012 and received it’s dully registration from the Business Registration and Licensing Agency (BRELA) in accordance to Company Act CAP 213 [R.E. 2002]; on 7Th June, 2016 and given registration Number 410297 as a Sole Proprietorship. The business also is registered as a Taxpayer and have given Taxpayer Identity Number (TIN) 131 151 608. The business came as
a means to address the needs of rural communities especially Pastoralists and Smallholders farmers to complement the government and Non-governmental Organizations efforts in agricultural services delivery. The business is designated and it endeavor shall be a non-profit making company in delivering services needed by the Pastoralists, government and NGOs or Civil Society Organizations through consultancy and Agriculture (including Livestock) Value Chain and Value addition initiatives. Therefore, the Center is responsible to address the objectives hereunder:-
1. To complement the government efforts in addressing challenges which face rural communities particularly Pastoralists and smallholders Farmers in achieving Sustainable Livelihoods
2. To contribute knowledge and building capacity through consultancy services
3. To enhance agriculture value chains development and value addition through agriculture products processing and packaging
4. To contribute to environmental conservation mainly Reducing Emission from Deforestation and Forest Degradation through implementation of environmental friendly activities and renewable energy technologies
5. To address climate change issues through capacity building, promoting public dialogues between modern scientists and Local knowledge practitioners.
6. To supporting youth groups to create employment through business formalization and development for increased income
