The Fifth Annual Masamu Advanced Study Institute (MASI) and Workshops in Mathematical Sciences were held on November 20th-29th, 2015, at the University of Namibia in Windhoek, Namibia. The MASI Institute was held in conjunction with the Southern Africa Mathematical Sciences Association (SAMSA) 2015 Annual Conference.

Thirty-four mathematicians participated in the MASI Institute, representing the countries of Botswana, Kenya, Malawi, Namibia, South Africa, Tanzania, United States, and Zimbabwe. These faculty members, graduate students, and undergraduate students conducted research and presented findings in the areas of Mathematical Biology, Graph Theory, Algebra, and Statistics.
