When we design, we’re always thinking about how a guest will actually use the space, where they’ll sit, what they’ll see, how it will feel throughout the day.

A small lounge corner inside the tent, but one that makes a difference.

We kept it clean and minimal on purpose, letting the fabrics, the wood, and the natural light do the work. Nothing too loud, just a space that feels calm the moment you sit down.

Conceived and designed by Kisasa Designs, this space is inspired by Maji, the Swahili word for water.

A sense of movement, softness, and calm runs through every detail. From sculptural lighting to custom carpets, each element reflects the quiet rhythm and flow of water. Organic forms and smooth edges mirror its gentleness, while natural materials bring a grounded, understated luxury.

The result is a space that feels calm, cohesive, and deeply connected to its surroundings, a Serengeti experience designed to be both immersive and timeless.
