Mount Meru is the topographic centerpiece of Arusha National Park. Its fertile slopes rise above the surrounding savanna and support a forest that hosts diverse wildlife.
The route to climb Mount Meru starts at Momella Gate, at 1500 metres altitude, and this is a route that will take an average mountaineer about 3-4 days to reach the summit 💪🏽💪🏽

Notoriously hungry, a nocturnal hunter and scavenger, hyenas do not kill their prey directly. Having chased their prey to exhaustion until unable to mount any further defence of itself, and is captured and eaten while still alive.
