Ending Harmful Practices Together

HYFY joined national efforts in Monduli to eliminate Female Ge***al Mutilation under the theme “Sauti Yetu Tokomeza Ukeketaji.”

Every girl deserves safety, dignity, and a future without harm.

Through sustained gender awareness and legal literacy sessions with the Naaralami Village Government, HYFY facilitated a transformative milestone men voluntarily transferring land ownership to their wives for the first time in this community’s history.

The land title handover ceremony, witnessed by Monduli District leadership, strengthened women’s tenure security, economic empowerment, and community trust in formal land governance systems advancing inclusive development and long-term household resilience.
