We believe in the power of social networks. They offer the hope of human connection. With the social distancing and sheltering in place required by COVID-19, they're more important than ever.

Unfortunately, we do not believe that Facebook meets these ideals. Instead, it cuts us off from our family and friends with arbitrary algorithms. It denies us access to the creators and businesses of our choice. It sells our personal information at cost to us and our democracy.

We imagine a different future, where people can interact with others while controlling their own data.

Autonomy. Agency. A future not controlled by corporations.

We're delighted to host this group of awesome and bright students from Robert H. Smith School of Business, University of Maryland for their study tour to Taiwan. They will be meeting with companies in Taiwan to understand more about their business and the FinTech environment.
