🧩Building on NIST Certification: From Standards to Scalable Silicon Realization
The recent achievement of NIST FIPS 205 and SP 800-208 certifications marks a defining moment for PUF-PQC, completing our coverage of the key post-quantum cryptography standards. However, while these certifications provide the essential foundation for trust and compliance, the industry's focus is now moving toward the next critical phase: how to design PQC-ready silicon that scales effectively in production.
As we transition from standard-setting to real-world silicon implementation, SoC designers are navigating the significant impact of massive key sizes and complex computational requirements on Power, Performance, and Area (PPA). At this juncture, the challenge is to maintain the rigorous security levels mandated by NIST while managing the inherent pressure on SoC hardware resources.
In our latest technical feature published on Design & Reuse, we explore how the integration of our certified PUF-PQC with a PUF-based Hardware Root of Trust (RoT) provides a modular solution to this puzzle. This approach ensures that the high security standards of NIST are met through silicon-unique identity and hardware-enforced protection, all while optimizing system efficiency.
To further assist in this transition, we have released a comprehensive white paper that dives into the implementation trade-offs and architectural considerations for deploying quantum-resilient security across AI, data-center, and edge platforms.

🚀 PUF-PQC Completes the PQC Puzzle with New NIST Certifications
We are proud to announce that PUF-PQC, jointly developed by eMemory Technology Inc. and PUFsecurity, has achieved NIST FIPS 205 and SP 800-208 certifications.
Building on its prior integration into silicon by vendors and existing certifications for FIPS 203 (ML-KEM) and FIPS 204 (ML-DSA), PUF-PQC now fully covers all key post-quantum cryptography standards released by NIST, marking a major milestone in hardware-anchored PQC deployment.
By integrating PUFrt, a PUF-based Hardware Root of Trust, PUF-PQC enables silicon-unique key derivation, hardware-enforced state protection, and quantum-resilient firmware authentication. Already adopted in leading BMC and infrastructure SoC designs, PUF-PQC continues to advance toward delivering long-lifecycle, hardware-anchored post-quantum security for AI, data-center, and edge platforms in the quantum computing era.
