Sivrihisar Hava Gösterileri’nin 10. yılında, Avrupanın uçabilir durumdaki tek MiG-15bis uçağı olan 602 gövde numaralı uçağın gökyüzündeki zarif dansını izlemek bir ayrıcalıktı. Polonyalı pilot Bartosz Maciejczyk, 70 yaşındaki bu efsanevi uçağıyla performans sergiledi. 2011-2015 yılları arasında Türkiye’de pilotluk yapmış olan Maciejczyk’in restorasyonunu kendi yaptığı MiG-15bis uçağıyla katıldığını ve uçuş öncesi tüm hazırlıkları da kendisinin yaptığını belirtelim.
MiG-15bis, Soğuk Savaş döneminin efsanevi savaş uçaklarından biridir. İlk kez 1949’da hizmete girdi, ok açılı kanat yapısıyla dikkat çeker. Saatte 670 mph hıza ulaşabilir, 51,000 ft irtifaya çıkabilir. Dönemin en hızlı ve etkili jet savaş uçaklarından biri olarak kabul edilir.

In the 10th year of the Sivrihisar Air Shows, it was a privilege to watch the elegant dance in the sky of the 602-bodied aircraft, the only airworthy MiG-15bis in Europe. Polish pilot Bartosz Maciejczyk performed with this legendary 70-year-old aircraft. It should be noted that Maciejczyk, who flew in Turkey between 2011 and 2015, participated with a MiG-15bis aircraft that he restored himself and carried out all the preparations before the flight.
The MiG-15bis is one of the legendary fighter jets of the Cold War era. First introduced in 1949, it stands out with its swept-wing design. It can reach speeds of 670 mph and climb to an altitude of 51,000 ft. It is considered one of the fastest and most effective jet fighter planes of its time.
