The EIC - The European Innovation Council Board President Michiel Scheffer’s visit to RS Research, shortly after the successful completion of our lead candidate’s Phase 1 clinical trial, was deeply meaningful.
We especially valued the opportunity, within such a demanding agenda, to share not only our clinical milestone but also the broader RS Research platform story, including our GMP capabilities, the next stage of our international growth and the momentum now building around our Series B discussions.
Start-ups lead new ways of thinking and turn bold ideas into real outcomes. A comment from President Scheffer stayed with us: “Learning from each other is very important. Keeping each other sharp is crucial”.
The growing momentum from Boğaziçi Üniversitesi and Center for Targeted Therapy Technologies - CT³ to Koç Üniversitesi and Teknopark İstanbul, the visit brought together innovators, researchers and EIC beneficiaries around a shared question: how can we continue strengthening our contribution to European innovation?
EIC - The European Innovation Council and its ambition to become a truly global innovation instrument, resonates strongly with RS Research. We are scaling with the ambition to become a European success story that reaches patients globally. For us, Prof. Rana Sanyal's European Prize for Women Innovators was never the final chapter of the story. It rather marked the beginning of a greater responsibility.
We thank President Scheffer for his visit and thoughtful exchanges, and we are equally grateful to Deputy Minister Kasım Gönüllü and TÜBİTAK delegation, as well as Mr. Bulent Ozcan together with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Directorate for EU Affairs team who supported us throughout this journey and, in many ways, stood with us as hosts in this memorable occasion. We leave these two days even more motivated for the steps ahead.

Paris brings many conversations together next week. One of them is Europe’s most significant gathering for changemakers in oncology.

Our Medical Director, Dr. Gülşah Nomak, will attend the ESMO Targeted Anticancer Therapies Congress 2026 from 16 March to 18 March in Paris to reconnect with innovators and decision-makers across our ecosystem. We are excited for the questions Paris will bring, as we stand at the doorstep of many milestones and have much to update our stakeholders on.
