Ottostop Design was born from a desire to explore Turkish culture, nature and village life, and transfer ideas from traditional Turkish arts & crafts into contemporary screen printed pieces. A combination of the words 'Ottoman' and 'Otostop' (the Turkish word for 'hitchhike'), here at Ottostop the experimental work we undertake is fuelled by a love to travel and meet like-minded people, exchanging ideas and evolving as we venture far.

Gizem came to the studio today. She actually attended one of my first ever workshops in Istanbul 4 years ago! She now lives in Muğla, and is in the process of setting up a slow fashion brand .studio . Gizem wants to get her head around the screen printing process so she can embellish her own garments and print her own labels.... I hope we can collaborate on some pieces in the not-too-distant future. Thanks for coming to learn and create today ! @ Yanıklar-Fethiye
