On 1 July 2026, TongaHealth proudly signed an agreement with Hon. Fane Fituafe under our SIG program, providing TOP $21,450.00 to implement the āTongatapu 6 Constituency Community Sports Activation Program 2026.ā
The funding will support community sports days, health awareness activities and social media campaigns that encourage people of all ages to be physically active and adopt healthy lifestyles.
This partnership aims to create more opportunities for active living and contribute to the prevention of non-communicable diseases (NCDs) across the Tongatapu 6 Constituency.

On 30 June 2026, TongaHealth proudly signed three agreements under our SIG program with Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Forestry (MAFF) Ha'apai, 'Uluaki Faiako Incorporated and the Tonga Office of the Auditor General (TOAG) to support initiatives that promote healthy lifestyles.
MAFF Ha'apai received TOP $20,000.00 to implement the "Planting Prosperity and Resilience" project, which will raise and distribute 1,800 vegetable seedlings to households across Ha'apai, establish home vegetable gardens and deliver healthy food preparation sessions to encourage nutritious eating and improve access to fresh, locally grown produce.
'Uluaki Faiako Incorporated received TOP $24,480.00 to implement the "Promoting Health and Wellbeing of Our Future Generation - 'Eua" project, creating safe and inclusive outdoor play spaces for young children, including children with disabilities to promote active play and healthy development.
Tonga Office of the Auditor General (TOAG) received TOP $4,610.00 to implement the "TOAG 2026 Healthy Journey" program, supporting weekly Zumba sessions, staff sports activities and workplace wellness programs that encourage their employees to stay active and improve their overall health.
These initiatives reflect our shared commitment to building a healthy, more active and more resilient Tonga for everyone.
