Our aim is to share our view of this ancient city and explore a hidden side of the medina, where modern lives mingle with 1500 years of history. Our tours are not walking textbooks; we blend stories, old and new, with architecture, artisanal crafts, and modern medina life to give you a comprehensive understanding of this UNESCO World heritage site and the people who live there. Open Call for volunteers for INTERFERENCE 2018 15/01/2018

INTERFERENCE International Light Art Project

In the historical context of the medina of Tunis, classified as a UNESCO world heritage site, the edition zero of INTERFERENCE International Light Art Project took place from August 22 to September 4, 2016 as a community and participatory project.
Thirty Tunisian and international artists, lived in the Medina to create customised art-works through collaborations and exchanges with the local community.
INTERFERENCE has been a meeting platform presenting light art works, open to the public, forums, workshops and conferences. All these activities would not be possible without the collaboration, help and work of a team of young people, passionate about both art and the medina.

This year, INTERFERENCE is back with a new edition that will take place in September 2018 in the medina of Tunis. In order to prepare this new edition, a session of workshops has been planned. It will take place from 16 to 18 February 2018.

You are interested in art and culture? Professional, amateur and / or passionate? INTERFERENCE gives you the opportunity to be part of our team of volunteers.

The selected persons will be summoned to individual interviews.
Successful applicants will be invited to attend all workshops.
