Timor Aid

Today, we were pleased to welcome Mana Pim, a representative from the Royal Thai Embassy, who visited the Product Diversification Training for young weavers in Manleuana, taking place from 16–21 March 2026.

The visit aimed to observe the products currently being developed by the young weavers during the training. These products will serve as important references for the upcoming training to be facilitated by Thai experts in September 2026, supported by the Royal Thai Embassy in close coordination with UN Women Timor-Leste and Timor Aid.

This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to strengthening the skills of young weavers, promoting product innovation in traditional weaving, and supporting women’s economic empowerment while preserving the cultural heritage of Timor-Leste.
