Tonight’s IELTS class focused on General Training Reading strategies and flow-chart completion tasks using the topic “Robots at Work.” Students practiced skimming, scanning, identifying keywords, and understanding paraphrasing techniques commonly used in the IELTS exam.

✨ Activities in class: • Chit-chat session about traveling in Japan 🇯🇵
• Sharing experiences of cherry blossoms, temples, weather, food, and culture
• Practicing descriptive speaking vocabulary from real travel experiences
• Exploring IELTS General Training sample tasks
• Practicing flow-chart completion techniques
• Reading and analyzing “Robots at Work”
• Team discussion and answer checking
• Timed reading and comprehension practice

The Japan travel conversation helped students warm up naturally in English before moving into academic reading tasks. They practiced speaking about sightseeing, transportation, Japanese culture, and memorable travel moments while building confidence in communication. 🌸⛩️

Listening and Speaking Practice
Students: EQ and Hong

🍽️ Today’s lesson focused on “Eating Out” through interactive listening and speaking activities.
Students practiced:

Food and restaurant vocabulary

Ordering food politely

Listening for details in a restaurant conversation

Matching pictures and menu items

True/False comprehension tasks

Filling in missing words from dialogues

Speaking role plays as customers and waiters

Both students showed good concentration and confidence while using English in realistic situations. They also practiced pronunciation and turn-taking conversations naturally through the British Council A2 materials.
