Another amazing women’s retreat in the bag and I honestly don’t have the words yet 💚

I was asked what my top moments were so I’ve been sitting with that question and here’s what keeps coming back to me.

In no particular order.

👯‍♀️ Hearing the women talk to each other before it even began. the initial pre-retreat introductions. a bit apprehensive, uncertain, nervous energy in the room. I love that bit. because I love watching how quickly it changes

🌝 Going to bed at 8.30 every night and lying there hearing laughter from the common area. every single night

🎨 The way the room went SO quiet during our expressive art workshop. everyone channeling a deeper part of themselves. so focused, so present. there was something so sacred in that silence

🌀 A hip releasing sequence I learned in India bringing someone to tears (just as it did me when I first experienced it)… as something that had been trapped just... let go. I love witnessing that kind of deep release we didn’t know we needed. it’s the best kind

🪬 The opening ceremony where 10 strangers shared their stories out loud to people they’d just met minutes before. the vulnerability, openness and trust always gets me

🥹 And then the closing ceremony where those same strangers leaving as sisters. I can’t explain how it happens. I just know it happens every time. one of the ladies even said “for the first time in my life I feel like I have sisters” 😭

⚡️The chanting. every day. hearing the vibrations get deeper and more resonant as the days went on. watching how everyone felt the depth of these ancient words and sounds 🙏🏽

💚 And of course, the moments of release that came for every single woman, at different times, in different ways. a breath, a posture, a conversation. and when it came, the tears came with it. The good kind

👯‍♀️ And as always, the connection between the women

People keep telling me my retreats seem to attract a special group of ladies. and I don’t know how to explain it. But it does

So I guess thank you (again) to the algorithm for showing my retreat to all the right ladies 😂🙏🏽
