Their commitment to our Licence to Clean initiative ensures that LTC001 continues its vital work in preserving Kamala’s waters. Together, we are protecting Phuket’s marine ecosystem.

The ocean acts as a giant sponge, absorbing about 30% of the $CO2 humans produce. While this helps our atmosphere, it triggers a chemical reaction that lowers the water's pH. This "acidification" makes it physically harder for corals and crustaceans to build their calcium carbonate skeletons. To combat this locally, Team Sea Garden focuses on seagrass, which can absorb $CO2 up to 20 times faster than land forests, helping to buffer and balance the water's chemistry.

Art, nature and conservation came together beautifully with JW Marriott Khao Lak Resort & Spa . After an inspiring evening at Drift Beach Bar & Grill , three brownbanded bamboo sharks from our Bamboo Shark Nursery were released into the Andaman Sea, each nurtured from egg to ocean over six months of care.
