𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐢 𝐑𝐚𝐢𝐥 𝐃𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐂𝐮𝐭 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬

The State Railway of Thailand (SRT) has clarified that no train services will be cancelled or reduced on June 1, despite online rumours suggesting otherwise. The SRT apologised for the confusion caused by a leaked internal document and assured passengers that all routes will continue to operate as normal. The agency is currently reviewing operational data to explore potential improvements, but stressed that any adjustments would be carefully considered and thoroughly reviewed with public feedback.

The Expressway Authority of Thailand's 18.7-km Rama 3-Daokhanong Expressway project, costing 31,244 million baht, has reached approximately 96% completion. Two contracts are finished, while three are ongoing, including elevated road construction by UNCC and ITD-VCB, progressing at 95.46% and 90.11% respectively. Installation of structural components and road surfaces for Contracts 1 and 3 is happening nightly, with completion expected by late 2026. Contractors face increased material costs from the oil crisis, with asphalt prices rising by 50-60%, and compensation will be provided upon section completion.
