The 30th Anniversary of Evangelion Illustration Pixiv Contest (last month)✨

As an Evangelion fan for 15 years, I’ve never owned any Eva goods or figures, since I tend to move around quite often. But one thing I’ve always carried with me is the inspiration this series has given me since the moment I started drawing it has shaped my entire career as an illustrator.

To be honest, I’ve felt burned out for the past few years. But last month, I simply wanted to pay tribute to this series—for giving me the skill to live, and for teaching me how to be resilient and thoughtful.
