ARTIST+RUN
ARTIST+RUN is a living room – a room where the artists we admire and respect are invited to present their works. ARTIST+RUN is the branch of Angkrit Gallery Chiangrai, an artist-run space that Angkrit Ajchariyasophon has operated in Chiangrai since 2008 until now. ARTIST+RUN is an art form: a sharing space and time available to all people who like to get involved in art. Let’s be an artist, Let's run together.

The body of work titled "Obvious Absencer" by Eiair invites us to transcend the human-centric worldview and shift toward perceiving "the small"—a dimension of reality that our contemporary awareness often forgets and overlooks.
This collection is akin to a miniature simulation of "the entire world," born from a wondrous, primordial process resembling the birth of the universe. As earth merges with water, it is meticulously hand-formed, air-dried by the wind, and forged through the fire of a 1250°C kiln. The power of these four elements transforms soft porcelain clay into objects both resilient and fragile, mirroring the delicate balance of our ecosystem. In an era where humanity is disconnected from nature and habituated to fleeting conveniences, Eiair employs a craft-oriented attitude.
Through the meticulous technique of slip dotting, he populates the work with infinite details, prompting contemporary viewers to awaken their senses—restoring the profound interplay between sight and touch—while fostering a critical awareness of the societal issues that stem from neglecting our surroundings.
We are invited to softly wander and observe the nooks, crannies, and unexpected corners where these artworks camouflage and permeate in absolute silence. If you walk past this present reality without noticing... the question remains: is it the artwork that is missing, or is it we ourselves who are fading, losing awareness of the fragile world right before our eyes? Let us step closer, zoom in, and reconnect with these hidden molecules of life together.
Eiair is one of the featured artists currently exhibiting his work in the 'Shared Sensibilities' exhibition at the Ratchadamnoen Contemporary Art Center (RCAC).
The exhibition is running until mid-September in Bangkok. If you happen to be in Bangkok during this time, I would like to invite you to come by and experience these shared sensibilities with us.

Chattakan Vongsiri: Before the Mask (2026)
This series explores the intersection of memory, identity, and material transformation through the reconstruction of discarded glass cullet. The works originate from paper-mâché khon masks—a childhood toy given to the artist by his late mother. As cherished objects of remembrance, these masks inspired the artist to reconsider the identity of the khon mask through the language of hot glass. The making process serves as a metaphor, translating the layering of discarded paper fragments into the gradual fusion of recycled glass pieces. Although melted and joined into a unified form, the traces and histories of each glass fragment are intentionally preserved on the surface. The monkey and giant figures are not merely characters from Thai classical literature; they become vessels for personal relationships and cultural inheritance. The works suggest that what is passed down is not only a physical object, but also a way of seeing, a creative process, and enduring values embedded within the material itself.

Human life begins in earth and ultimately returns to it. Working with clay—the oldest of materials—Kim Hojung explores the relationship between humanity, nature, and time. For the artist, clay is not merely a medium but a material that carries the memory of the land, the traces of civilization, and the history of human life.
She reinterprets the formal language of prehistoric earthenware and traditional Korean ceramics through a contemporary lens. The proportions of comb-pattern pottery, the rhythm of repeated lines, the natural colours of clay, and the transformations created through firing are reimagined as new forms and surfaces. Rather than controlling every outcome, the artist embraces the inherent variability of clay, allowing the material itself to shape the work.
Recently, She has expanded this exploration by experimenting with different clay bodies and extending the practice into photography, drawing, and material-based painting.
Across these media, the artist translates the tactile qualities of the earth and the passage of time into a contemporary visual language.
Kim Hojung's work invites viewers to experience clay not simply as a material, but as a vessel of memory—one that connects nature, humanity, and time through form and materiality.

Drawing from the Sanskrit concept of Ṛta—the cosmic order that serves as the root of "art"—Mo Jirachaisakul's work seeks to transform chaos into structured form. His sculptures embody a timeless duality, appearing simultaneously ancient and newly made, as if freshly unburied or taken straight from the kiln. By stretching and distorting carved patterns inspired by ancient Ban Chiang pottery, Jirachaisakul exposes the underlying tension and chaos while maintaining the pieces' functional nature—demonstrating a harmonious coexistence of order and disorder.
