something painter and decorator with no formal cooking training can do it, you can certainly do it believe me. A lot of my recipes take only 20 mins from start to finish! I hear people say "There's so many ingredients to buy, it's so expensive just to cook one dish" but as you'll find out you'll be using the same ingredients over and over in a lot of recipes so the more you make, the cheaper it becomes! I usually plan my travels around food (sometimes driving my long suffering girlfriend to insanity) so I sometimes end up in places where I don't see a western tourist for days just to get to taste something I've never had before. I want to share these experiences and the recipes I've collected along way with you, not forgetting the obvious Thai classics. I want to get you excited about cooking Thai food! Some of what I put up will be what I'd call western versions of Thai food i.e what you'd get in a Thai restaurant back home as I know it can be tricky getting some ingredients but mostly I'll be sharing authentic dishes from all over Thailand and the rest of Asia. One thing i promise you is that you WILL love the food!
