Architectural and interior design work for a two-story house with three bedrooms in Bangkok. The house was newly constructed on the original land after demolishing the old house that the owner had lived in since birth.
Apart from carefully considering the appropriate orientation of the house. Both Exterior and Interior Design is placed on achieving balance and composition in arranging the mass and form, resulting in Asymmetry Balance. The interior design highlights the harmonious blending of color tones, incorporating various textures and materials that, despite their differences, create a cohesive overall look.
Certain parts of the house aim to preserve fond memories of the old home. This is achieved by transferring these memories through materials, functionality, or by refurbishing and repurposing some old furniture. The goal is to create new and lasting memories while maintaining a connection to the past."
