Agritech startup from Indonesia ‘AgriAku’, a B2B marketplace for farmers in Jakarta, recently announced that the company had raised a pre-series A funding round of 6 millions dollars. During this funding round, several investors participated, including Go-Ventures, MDI Rise, MDI Centauri, Mercy Corps, Social Venture Fund, and angel investors. The primary use of this funding is to expand the team and attempt to increase market pe*******on.

AgriAku basically is a marketplace for retailers to sell supplies and products such as seeds, fertilizers, and agrochemicals, to the farmers. The company’s main goal is to give retailers and farmers easy access to agricultural supplies, a wider range of product selection, and a transparent and reasonable pricing. Given that the AgriAku marketplace was opened in 2021, the company claims for the average month-to-month growth rate of 200%, and currently has 10,000 registered farmer stores. Irvan Kolonas, CEO of AgriAku and other agritech startups like Vasham, said that AgriAku is his ‘lifelong mission’, which is to establish a truly social enterprise.

Singapore-based mental wellness startup that operates throughout APAC ‘MindFi’ had closed and announced its oversubscribed funding seed round at over 2 million dollars. Investors from this funding round included returning investors like M Venture Partners and Global Founder Capital, also some Angel investors like Marcus Tan, Kenji Narushima, and Derrick Ko.

Basically, application ‘MindFi’ is a self-directed mental health wellness program, community forums and even group therapy. The app is operated through AI by matching coaches and therapists to users’ profiles. All information, such as sleep, heart rate, and daily activity, will be gathered through users’ fitness wearables.

Currently, most mental wellness startups in the United States gain a lot of funding for development that will generate changes. Lee also told Techcrunch that this seed funding will be used for AI development, psychological data integration, and even for collaboration with local experts that the programs must also be culturally-fit. Apart from this, Mayank Parekh, M Ventures partner, stated that this will be an opportunity to solve the ongoing significant problem that most countries ignored.

Job Description
- Research laws, business, market and regulations relevant to the matters
- Ensure all paperwork and documents relating to legal procedures and/or requirements are meet the standards in accordance with the law
- Present the relevant info and/or opinion (laws, business, market and regulations) to the Partner or Team , including identify key insights, recommendations, opportunities, and threats to inform corporate and commercial strategies
- Draft, review, and prepare any legal documents and agreements relevant to the client matters or as assigned by the Partner
- Be a project leader, handle fundraising and M&A deals or others project relevant to the client matters or as assigned by the Partner
- In support of the Partners and/or project leaders, lead the production and provide quality control of the firm’s various work products
- Interact with the clients as assigned by the Partners and/or project leaders, also build high-quality relationships with VC firms, startup accelerators, startup founders and innovation ecosystems
Qualification
- Minimum 5 years of experience in law firm, consulting, venture capital, in-house legal department or related field
- Fluent in Thai and English
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Laws
- Possess a lawyer license and notary license would be advantage
- Proficiency with G Suite and MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Have the desirable mindset and attitude towards lifelong learning and being able to step outside of comfort zone

Successful candidates can expect onboarding training and a salary (depending on the experiences and capabilities, salary is negotiable).
