Asvin, together with Wit Pimkanchanapong and the Octave Maze team, is excited to collaborate with all selected artists.

The selected proposals stood out for their artistic vision, presentation, and potential to engage with, experiment alongside, and expand the possibilities of the Octave Maze system. Together, they reflect the diversity of approaches and performance formats that we hope to bring to this year's programme.

We are truly grateful to have received submissions from artists, musicians, performers, programmers, and creative practitioners from many countries around the world.

To those who were not selected this year, thank you again for your interest, generosity, and for sharing your work with us.

Octave Maze Live 2026 is now open for applications.

We invite musicians, DJs, artists, performers, and programmers
to present live performances at
Asvin Cultural and Contemporary Art Space.

This program aims to explore and experiment with the relationships between
light, sound, technology, memory, and physical space
through live performance in dialogue with the kinetic installation
Octave Maze (2026 edition).

For 2026, the Octave Maze system has been expanded from 8 to 256 controllable positions, supporting both MIDI and DMX communication.
The system can also be controlled independently from sound input,
allowing artists to choreograph the maze in direct relation to performance—
opening up greater creative possibilities.

What We Provide
◾Performance space within Octave Maze
◾Basic vintage sound system
◾Piano with MIDI signal
◾Promotion through Asvin channels
◾Ticket revenue shared 50/50 between artist and organizer

Application Deadline: June 8, 2026
Notification of Results: by June 19, 2026
Performance Period (Saturdays): July 4 – October 10, 2026

𝑨𝑺𝑽𝑰𝑵 พื้นที่ศิลปวัฒนธรรมร่วมสมัยอัศวิน เป็นจุดหนึ่งที่ร่วมกิจกรรม BAC Passport มาประทับตราและเดินชมนิทรรศการ "๒๕๑๓ กสวนมโหรี" ที่ชั้น 1

"๒๕๑๓ กสวนมโหรี" (1970 New Anatomy of Mahori) จัดแสดงเครื่องดนตรีไทยย่อส่วน เป็นการร่วมมือระหว่างพระองค์ชายใหญ่และครูเตือน พาทยกุล เกิดเป็นวงมโหรีที่มีขนาดน่ารัก น่าเอ็นดู และสร้างเสียงของดนตรีไทยที่แตกต่างจากเดิม

เปิดให้เข้าชมวันพุธถึงวันอาทิตย์
11.00 น. ถึง 18.00 น.

#อัศวินภาพยนตร์

The music has returned to its home.

เมื่อเสาร์ที่ 28 กุมภาพันธ์ พ.ศ. 2569 ที่ผ่านมา มูลนิธิอัศวินร่วมกับมูลนิธิอาจารย์สุกรี เจริญสุขและสถานีโทรทัศน์ไทยพีบีเอส ภายใต้การสนับสนุนโดยดร. สมศักดิ์ และคุณหญิงปัทมา ลีสวัสดิ์ตระกูลได้จัดงานแสดงดนตรี “ท่วงทำนองแห่งอัศวินภาพยนตร์ โดยเสด็จพระองค์ชายใหญ่” ขึ้นเพื่อเป็นจุดเริ่มต้นของโครงการจัดตั้งพิพิธภัณฑ์ที่เกี่ยวเนื่องกับอัศวินภาพยนตร์ โดยมีจุดประสงค์เพื่อศึกษา ค้นคว้า และเผยแพร่ผลงานที่เกี่ยวข้องกับประวัติศาสตร์ภาพยนตร์ ศิลปะ และวัฒนธรรมความบันเทิงของไทยในอดีต และเปิดโอกาสให้บุคคลทั่วไปได้เข้ามาศึกษาเรียนรู้ และนำองค์ความรู้จากอดีตมาต่อยอดสู่สังคมปัจจุบัน

การแสดงครั้งนี้เป็นการนำบทเพลงประกอบภาพยนตร์ของพระองค์ชายใหญ่มาเรียบเรียงใหม่สำหรับวงไทยแชมเบอร์ออร์เคสตร้า (Thai Chamber Orchestra) ณ โครงการอัศวิน ซึ่งเป็นที่ตั้งเดิมของบริษัทอัศวินภาพยนตร์ สถานที่ที่เป็นจุดเริ่มต้นของบทเพลงเหล่านี้ โดยได้เชิญนักดนตรีและนักร้องร่วมสมัยมาร่วมขับกล่อมบทเพลงถึง 15 เพลง สร้างความประทับใจให้กับแขกผู้มีเกียรติที่เข้าร่วมชมการแสดงในครั้งนี้ และทำให้บรรยากาศภายในอัศวินกลับมามีชีวิตชีวาอีกครั้ง

Last Saturday, February 28, the Asvin Bangkok—the original site of Asvin Pictures—came alive with the timeless compositions of Prince Bhanubandhu Yugala. It was a moving experience to hear these 15 iconic scores rearranged by the Thai Chamber Orchestra and contemporary vocalists, performed in the very place where they were first conceived.

This concert, "The Melodies of Asvin Film," marks a humble yet significant beginning for us. It serves as the inaugural step toward our mission of establishing a museum dedicated to the study and preservation of Thai cinematic history and entertainment culture.

We believe that by revisiting our roots, we find the inspiration to grow toward the future.

Our heartfelt thanks to our partners, the Sugree Charoensook Foundation and Thai PBS, and to Dr. Somsak and Khunying Patama Leeswadtrakul for their gracious support in helping us revitalize the spirit of Asvin.
