ELSA are investigating physical and engineering issues that are relevant to the transformation of energy and energy conversion, including the exploring of new system architectures, technologies, and control methods that together push the technology to the edge. We also use computational sciences and semi-analytical models to investigate transistors, MEMS, solar cells, and photosensors based on graphene and other two-dimensional materials, enabling miniaturized, highly integrated power electronics over the present state of the art.
