'Under a Common Sky, Sheltered to Gather' for RAM Assembles 2025 ()

Under a Common Sky, Sheltered to Gather is not a conventional building, but a shelter: the most minimal gesture of architecture. A simple roof offering shade, intimacy, and a shared space of joy and connection.

Suspended lightly above the plaza, it softens the urban ground and creates a human-scaled room in the open air. Its colorful, playful forms bring warmth and curiosity to the city- inviting people to gather, rest, speak, and reflect. Inspired by the spirit of the picnic-informal, adaptive, and shaped by those who join-it becomes a temporary commons for collective presence.

Though short-lived, the structure is reusable-light, hopeful, and made to continue.
