หน้าร้อนจัดๆ อย่างนี้ มี Cozycomo 2 แห่งที่เหมาะกับท่านคือที่ น้ำหนาว และ จันทบุรี ขอเริ่มที่น้ำหนาวก่อนนะครับ

Cozycomo น้ำหนาว อยู่สูงกว่าระดับน้ำทะเลเกือบ 600 เมตร ซึ่งหมายความว่า ไม่ว่าอุณหภูมิพื้นราบจะเป็นเท่าไหร่ Cozycomo น้ำหนาวจะมีอุณหภูมิต่ำกว่า 6 องศา C เสมอ มันเป็นกฎฟิสิกส์ตายตัวครับ
แม้กระนั้นเรายังติดแอร์ไว้ที่ห้องนั่งเล่น 2 เครื่อง เผื่อว่าแขกของเราไม่อยากออกไปไหนเลย ต้องการอยู่เงียบๆ กับครอบครัวมิตรสหาย ทำกับข้าวอร่อยๆ ทานกัน ซึ่งเรามีครัวที่มีอุปกรณ์ครบ และมีที่ปิ้งย่างนอกบ้าน เหมาะแก่การทำบาร์บีคิว หมูกระทะ ผัดแกง แบบไทยๆ สำหรับมื้อเย็น ภายใต้แสงดาวที่สุกใสสว่างเต็มท้องฟ้า

สถานที่น่าเที่ยวฤดูนี้ ไม่พ้น Trail ของป่ารอบๆบ้าน คือเดินออกจากบ้านเลี้ยวซ้าย ประมาณ 150 เมตรก็จะเจอจุดเริ่มต้นของ trail ทางขวามือ ให้เลี้ยวขวา เมื่อเจอทางแยก ให้เลี้ยวขวาเสมอ ก็จะกลับถึงบ้านได้ในเวลาไม่เกิน 45 นาที

ถ้าหากท่านเลี้ยวขวาจากหน้าบ้านไปประมาณ 250 เมตร ก็จะเจอ “ทนายบ้านนอกแคมป์” มีบริการกาแฟอย่างอร่อยและบริการนั่งรถจี๊ป 4x4 ลุ่ยป่า มี 3 เส้นทาง นัดแนะกับเจ้าของรีสอร์ท ชื่อทนายปรีชาได้ครับ

บ้านเราห่างจากตัวอำเภอน้ำหนาว 16 กม. ที่มีร้านอาหารอร่อยๆ หลายร้านตามรายทาง เราขอแนนะนำร้านอาหารที่เราไปทานกันเสมอๆ คือ ร้านกาแฟรัญจวน มีเค็กกล้วยหอมทำเอง อร่อย ครัวสารินท์ เป็นอาหารตามสั่ง ถ้าคนมากๆ อาจช้านิดนึง ครัวติดเขา สอาดสะอ้าน มีอาหารให้สั่งเยอะ วิวสวย บริการดี ต่อมาคือครัวนายหัว ขายอาหารใต้ และที่ขาดไม่ได้คือร้านซับสโมสร เลย 7/11 ไปประมาณ 1.5 กม. อร่อยทุกอย่างครับ ราคาเป็นมิตรด้วย
แถวบ้านมีน้ำตกหลายแห่งแต่จะไม่มีน้ำในฤดูร้อน ทนายปรีชาพาท่านไปได้ทุกแห่งครับ

ที่น่าไปอีกแห่งคืออุทยานแห่งชาติน้ำหนาว มี trail ให้เดินหลายระยะทางให้เลือก

แต่สำหรับผม เตรียมอาหารสดหรือปรุงสุกแล้ว ไปทำหรืออุ่นทานกันที่บ้านจะเหมาะที่สุด หลังตื่นนอนแต่เช้าให้ชงกาแฟร้อนๆ ไปรอพระอาทิตย์ขึ้น และรอชมทะเลหมอก หากคืนนั้นมีฝนตก แล้วก็ไปเดิน trail รอบบ้านเรียกน้ำย่อย กลับมากทานอาหารเช้า เที่ยงขับรถไปหาอะไรทานที่อำเภอน้ำหนาว ที่อยู่สูงจากบ้านเรา อากาศก็จะเย็นกว่า แล้วกลับมาทำบาร์บีคิวทานกันที่บ้าน รอชมดาวที่สว่างสุกใสที่สุด ร้องเพลงที่ชอบหรือนั่งคุยกันเงียบๆ ท่ามกลางป่าบริสุทธิ์ ผมว่าดีที่สุด ไม่มีสถานที่ไหนในเมืองไทยเทียบได้เลย

In very hot weather like this, there are two Cozycomo locations that are most suitable: Nam Nao and Chanthaburi. Let me start with Nam Nao first.

Cozycomo Nam Nao is almost 600 meters above sea level. This means that whatever the temperature is down on the plains, it will always be about 6°C cooler here. It’s simply a law of physics.

Even so, we have installed two air conditioners in the living room, in case our guests prefer to stay inside and relax quietly with family or friends. You can cook and enjoy good meals together—we have a fully equipped kitchen and an outdoor grilling area, perfect for barbecue, Thai-style hot pan (moo kratha), or home-style Thai dishes for dinner under a sky full of bright stars.
A great activity during this season is walking the forest trail around the house. Just take a left turn and walk about 150 meters from the house and you will find the trail entrance on the right. Turn right, and whenever you reach a junction, keep turning right—you will return to the house within 45 minutes.

If you turn right from the front of the house and walk about 250 meters, you will find “Tanai Baan Nok Camp.” They serve very good coffee and also offer 4x4 Jeap forest tours with three different routes. You can arrange this with the owner, Mr. Preecha.
Our house is about 16 km from Nam Nao town, where there are many good restaurants along the way. The ones we regularly visit include Ranjuan Coffee, which serves delicious homemade banana cake; Krua Sarin, a made-to-order Thai restaurant (it can be a bit slow when busy); Krua Tid Khao, which is clean, has a wide menu, beautiful views, and good service; and Krua Nai Hua, which serves southern Thai food. Another must-visit is Subsamor Restaurant, about 1.5 km past 7-Eleven—everything there is delicious and reasonably priced.
There are several waterfalls nearby, but they usually have no water during the hot season. However, Mr. Preecha can take you to visit them.

Another place worth visiting is Nam Nao National Park, which offers many trails of different lengths.

For me, the best experience is to prepare fresh or pre-cooked food and enjoy it at the house. In the morning, make a cup of hot coffee and wait for the sunrise. If it rained the night before, you might see a sea of mist. Then take a short walk on the trail around the house before coming back for breakfast. Later in the morning, you can drive to Nam Nao town for a meal—the weather there is even cooler due to the higher elevation. In the evening, come back to enjoy a barbecue, watch the bright stars, sing your favorite songs, or simply sit and talk quietly in the pure forest surroundings.

In my opinion, this is the best experience. There is nowhere else in Thailand quite like it.
