SRPP Advised GMM Grammy and GMM Music on Strategic Share Transactions with YG Entertainment.

SRPP is pleased to announce that it has acted as legal counsel in connection with strategic share transactions involving GMM Grammy Public Company Limited (“GMM Grammy”), GMM Music Public Company Limited (“GMM Music”), and YG Entertainment Inc. (“YG”), a leading global entertainment company.

SRPP advised GMM Grammy on the sale of up to 0.2075% of its existing shares in GMM Music to YG, and GMM Music on the repurchase of 49% of the existing shares in YGMM Company Limited (now renamed GMM Tempo Company Limited) from YG.

Following the completion of these transactions, YG becomes the third strategic investor in GMM Music, joining Warner Music Group and Tencent Music Entertainment. SRPP also had the privilege of advising on GMM Music’s earlier transactions involving both Warner Music Group and Tencent Music Entertainment.

These transactions reflect a strategic alignment among leading industry participants and underscore SRPP’s continued role as trusted legal counsel on complex corporate and cross-border transactions, particularly within the media and entertainment sector.
