Corporate Governance and Leadership Workshop

Background.

Corporate Governance is a complex and involved subject, but a subject that has implications which pertain to the entire organization. Not only senior executives deal with Corporate Governance, but managers also play a critical role. As a manager, you are required to be conscious of the ‘do’s’ and ‘don'ts’ regarding appropriate corporate governance, as you yourself carry much responsibility in ensuring that regulations are adhered to.
Any manager who is not familiar with the elements required of them by the above is going to struggle to meet their legal and fiduciary duties to their respective employers. To assist organizations and their officers to understand what Corporate Governance means and requires, as well as how to go about implementing good governance in practice
It is essential that the entire management teams are familiar with all elements surrounding corporate governance and what their respective duties in the workplace are to ensure that the regulations are met and upheld.
To ensure maximum compliance, you and your management team can make certain that you know everything there is to know about understanding and implementing sound Corporate Governance practices according to the King II Report on Corporate Governance.

• Preventing and combating fraud and corruption
• How managers get into trouble
• The major Corporate Governance requirements of the new Companies Act
• The Prevention & Combating of the Corrupt Activities Act
• Fraud Risk Indicators
