This morning, World Vision Eswatini (WVE) met with the judiciary, including Principal Magistrates and the High Court Registrar, to strengthen collaboration on justice for children.
The engagement focused on identifying gaps WVE can support, as well as advocating for improved implementation of child protection laws such as the Children’s Protection and Welfare Act (2012) and the Sexual Offences and Domestic Violence Act (2018).
The meeting also builds on previous collaborations, including support to child‑friendly court spaces, one‑stop centres for survivors of violence, access to legislation and joint trainings for the judiciary and police. This marks the first step towards formalising the partnership through a memorandum of understanding (MOU) and a joint work plan.
