Just like that couple who stood above the city, we are aiming for the summit — not just to participate, but to compete for the top spot in any competition!!
Great journeys begin with courage, teamwork, and the belief that the impossible can be achieved.
Galatians 6:9
"Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up."

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!
Today, we celebrate the fathers who have played a significant role in raising the next generation of leaders.
A father's role goes far beyond being present. Fathers are called to:
• Protect
• Provide
• Confirm identity
• Instill moral values
• See and nurture potential
Sadly, approximately 40% of children do not live with their biological fathers, and about 85% of behavioral problems are linked to fatherless homes.
There are two types of fatherlessness:
🔹 Absent Fathers – completely disconnected from their children's lives.
🔹 Disengaged Fathers – alive and present, but not actively fulfilling their role as fathers.
To every disengaged father: You may not have fully played your role in the upbringing of your son(s) or daughter(s), but it is not too late. Today is an opportunity to stop the curse, step up, reconnect, and become the father your children need.
He will turn the hearts of the parents to their children, and the hearts of the children to their parents; or else I will come and strike the land with total destruction." — Malachi 4:6
Happy Father's Day to all fathers who continue to lead, love, guide, and make a lasting impact.💙🌹🙌

🌹 NOTICE OF LOGO CHANGE 🌹
As Matsapha Roses Football Club continues to grow, we have introduced a new club logo that better reflects our identity, values, and vision for the future.
The football at the center has been replaced with a rose, placing our club's identity at the heart of the badge. The rose symbolizes growth, resilience, transformation, and our commitment to developing players both on and off the field.
While the logo has changed, our passion for football remains the same. This new badge represents who we are and where we are going as a club.
Thank you for your continued support as we grow together.

Last week, our ladies battled to a hard-fought 0–0 draw against Mbekelweni Ladies in a tightly contested encounter.
Despite creating countless scoring opportunities—including a penalty in our favor—the team was unable to find the back of the net.
We now look ahead to our final match of the season against Green Mamba, which promises to be another exciting and competitive fixture. A victory would automatically secure our place in the Top 9.
This is a chance for the Roses to redeem themselves and finish the season on a high note!!

Our ladies suffered a 4–0 defeat against Manzini Wanderers Ladies.
The first half was highly competitive, with our side showing great determination despite conceding an early goal in the opening minutes of the match.
Wanderers started the second half strongly and capitalized on a few defensive errors to add two more goals. They then sealed the victory with a fourth goal in the closing stages of the game.
Despite the result, our ladies displayed encouraging football, particularly in the first half, and there were many positive signs to take away from the performance. We remain confident that we have a solid foundation to build on as we prepare for next season.
