The CEO of Air India, Campbell Wilson just announced that they will be giving out $114k dollars to all the families of the 241 passengers that lost their lives.

The sad thing is there is a couple that died with their children , surely their extended family will receive the cash.

CEO Campbell Wilson 🗣️; “I express our deep sorrow about this incident. This is a difficult day for all of us at Air India. Our efforts now are focused entirely on the needs of our passengers, crew members, their families and loved ones. I know there are many questions and I will not be able to answer all of them....The aircraft was carrying 230 passengers and 12 crew members onboard. Of the passengers, 169 are Indian nationals, 53 are British nationals, 1 Canadian national and 7 Portuguese nationals. We are working with the authorities on all emergency response efforts. A special team of caregivers from Air India are on their way to Ahmedabad to provide additional effort. Investigations will take time. But anything we can do now, we are doing. We have also set up a dedicated passenger hotline number 1800 5691 444 to provide more information.”

The guy who survived will also be given enough money to care for himself..
