Tensions are reportedly rising within the SPLM-IO after several senior leaders from the Nuer faction were allegedly removed by Jacklin Mathew from a social media group by Oyet Nathaniel Pierino. According to reports circulating among opposition members, K. Deng and other senior figures have accused Oyet of fabricating claims about an alleged assassination plot against Riek Machar while he is in Juba. They have also reportedly called for Oyet's expulsion from the opposition movement.
