Peter Deng Express and Deng Opportunities Foundation, Inc.'s founder is set to launch the first-of-its-kind private scholarship program within his foundation, which he has named “My Country at Heart Scholarship.” Mr. Peter Deng will fund the scholarship solely and administer it through Deng Opportunities Foundation, Inc. The scholarship will provide a full ride from a bachelor's to a master's degree. My Country at Heart Scholarship comes with very restrictive conditions. Let me give you the breakdown of the number of students that will be sponsored in the first year when the program starts in 2025.
A. 2 Students to go to law school- from bachelor’s degree to Masters
B. 2 students to go to medical school- from bachelor’s degree to MD
C. 2 students to study aviation and become well-respected South Sudanese Pilots
D. 2 students to study software engineering
E. 2 students to study Computer Programming
F. 1 student to study economics. This student MUST also obtain a master's degree in accounting, finance, and economics. This is a mission that this student must achieve.
Here are the conditions that come with the scholarship.
• The students must only work in South Sudan after their studies and stay clean and free from corruption, nepotism, and discrimination.
• Must never accept job offers from NGOs or any company that is not a South Sudan government or South Sudanese people-owned company. Any student who breaks this rule will be subject to immediately paying back all the money spent on their studies plus a fine of $125,000. However, the student can accept the job offer outside South Sudan only if it interests South Sudan and its people. However, this has to be reviewed by the management of My Country at Heart Club to ensure it is in the country's best interest.
• After graduation, each student must spend one or two months reflecting on Africa's downfall.
• These students must never work against the government of South Sudan in any way, either indirectly or directly. They must pledge their loyalty to the South Sudanese people without discrimination of tribe, social class, educational background, etc.
• Students must have no boyfriend or girlfriend during their studies.
• Student must be willing to join My Country at Heart Club
• Student must establish his or her business three years after competition of their studies or risk-return scholarship money with a monthly interest of 25%
• Students must limit the use of social media during studies
• Students must network well with the top world-class people.
NOTE: Anyone related to the founder, either by blood or vice versa, cannot apply for the program. This clearly shows that Mr. Peter is a no-nonsense man with no nepotism and no corruption.
