A Tribute to a Padang Legend: Farewell to My Chairman and Brother, Moses Ajing Ngor

Today, the music has stopped, and a dark cloud hangs over our entire land. This morning, we lost a true giant, a legendary voice, and a pillar of our culture—Moses Ajing Ngor.
As a fellow musician from Paweny community, it is with the heaviest heart that I write these words. Though Moses served as the Chairman of the Ngok Lual Yak Artists Union, we are all children of Padang. His loss is not just felt by one section; it is a profound grief that shakes all of us who share this heritage. He was my colleague, my brother in rhythm, and our leader.
A Voice for All of Padang
Moses did not just sing for one group; he wove the history, the struggles, and the soul of the Padang people into melodies that belonged to everyone.
A Champion for Artists: As a Chairman, Moses fought tirelessly for the dignity, respect, and unity of all musicians. He believed that artists are the keepers of our culture and deserved to be valued by society.
A Bridge of Unity: His leadership and his music brought us together. He used his platform to unite Padang artists, proving that our voices are stronger when we sing as one.
An Irreplaceable Legacy: He preserved our stories and our identity. Long after today, the next generation will still listen to his music to understand who they are and where they come from.
A legend never truly dies because his voice lives on. Every time a drum beats and every time our people gather, Moses Ajing Ngor’s spirit will be there in the music.
My Deepest Condolences to the Family and Ngok Lual Yak

"To the family of our beloved Chairman, Moses Ajing Ngor, and to my brothers and sisters of Ngok Lual Yak: As your brother from Paweny and a colleague in the music industry, I stand shoulder-to-shoulder with you in this dark hour. Your grief is our grief.

Thank you for sharing this great man and this powerful voice with all of us. As Padang artists, we promise to protect his legacy, keep his music alive, and carry the torch of unity he lit for our people. May God grant you the strength to bear this irreplaceable loss."

Rest in perfect peace, my Chairman, my Padang brother. Your final song on earth has been sung, but your melody will echo in our hearts forever.
In deep sorrow and respect,
Khalto Man

"Good evening music lovers 🎵

I want to speed my mind to every single one of you listening right now.

Here’s what I’ve learned:
Fans = Value. Disrespect = Nothing.
We don’t need hate from listeners. We need real ones who rock with the music, not the drama.

As artists, our job is simple:
Commit to the work. Release the song. Drop the video. Show up.
Being called a 'big artist' doesn’t define you.
What defines you is consistency + quality music that you keep releasing, month after month, year after year.

One hit makes noise. Consistency builds a legacy.
And yes - we’ll drop the music, but we’ll also push it. No promotion = no movement.
So we work, we release, we promote, we repeat. That’s the formula.

To every fan giving love instead of disrespect: You’re the reason we keep going.
To every artist reading this: Let the work talk. The rest will follow. 🎤✨
