I know some people expected more from me. I expected more from myself, too. But before I blame myself too much, I need to be honest about what was happening behind the scenes.

For the last year, I wasn’t just a student. I was serving my county with the National Police Service. That meant performing my duties every day and every night. Early morning patrols, night shifts, responding to emergencies, protecting my community. School and books had to share time with duty, responsibility, and sacrifice.

It was not easy balancing both. When my classmates were in the library at night, I was on patrol. When they were doing revision during weekends, I was reporting for duty. My mind and body were split between two commitments: my education and my country.

Because of that, I was not fully committed to books 100% like I wanted to be. I did my best with the time I had. 71.8% is the result of studying under pressure, studying after duty, and studying when I was tired but still pushing.

So I refuse to carry too much blame. I did not fail myself. I chose to serve. I chose responsibility. I chose my country. And I still walked away with a pass that I earned through struggle.

This is not the end for me. It’s a lesson. It taught me discipline, time management, and sacrifice. The same discipline I used on duty will now go into my next stage.

To everyone seeing their results today: your number does not define your worth. If you gave your best in the situation you were in, then be proud. We learn, we adjust, and we come back stronger.
