He remains a true liberator, visionary leader, and founding pillar of the SPLM/SPLA (IO). His historical contribution to the struggle for freedom, justice, and dignity of our people is undeniable and deeply respected.
Any positive gesture by Gen. Simon Gatwech toward reunion and reconciliation is warmly welcomed, without reservations, for it strengthens the collective cause of our movement and our people. The forces that have long sought to divide us, sow discord, and delay our liberation have failed miserably.
The struggle continues—firm and unwavering—for a just, peaceful, and democratic South Sudan, where all citizens are equal before the law.
