Customers rebuke Kush airline for Charging extra mandatory payment of SSP 1,000

Some of the passengers boarding via Kush Airlines from Wau to Juba complain extra charges.

According to Maker Mangar some Kush airline officials impose mandatory charges of 1000 South Sudanese Pound (SSP) besids the 160 USD charges for the ticket.

"Today, as I handed over my ticket for clearance for my flight from Wau to Juba, I was both baffled and frustrated by what Kush Airlines employees, led by their manager, were doing" he said

"All passengers were told to pay a mandatory fee of SSP 1,000. When I asked what the payment was for and whether the Juba office was aware of such practice, I was met with intimidation. I was simply told: “Do you want to board or not?” he added.

He called on the officials to stop such malpractices.

"you, We can’t keep normalizing these illegal charges. I’ve never seen people forced to pay for “nothing” just to access a service they’ve already paid for" he said.
