Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. Be not wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord, and turn away from evil. It will be healing to your flesh and refreshment to your bones.

Successful Completion of Two-Week Gospel Seminar in Greater Bahr el Ghazal Field – Wau
By Pr. Isaiah Malek Garang

Dear Friends

Praise the LORD God our Creator and Redeemer for all the blessings we enjoyed in Wau in the last 2 weeks, as I hope you have also received God’s blessings wherever you are.

I do appreciate Pr. William Kabi Oliver—President (Bishop) of the SDA Church in Greater Bahr el-Ghazal and his team, for inviting me to be part of two spiritual activities: (1) 14-days Gospel Seminar which ended with 112 souls who received the baptism of the Lord Jesus at Wau River, and 34 children blessed—dedicated to the LORD, (2) 2-years theological training of 42 Seminarians in Bahr el-Ghazal Adventist College (BAC), in which I taught “Basic Hermeneutics” a Course of 3 Credits.

I also appreciate the invitations to give encouraging words in three Schools: (1) Wau SDA Nur., & Pri., School (2) Standard Secondary School, and (3) Standard N., & Primary School.

Thanks to our government for ensuring peace in WBS. This is also a great support to the word of God, to be preached for nation-building. Besides going to heaven, this Word of God is uniting 64-Tribes into 1-PEOPLE “South Sudanese/nationals/junubiin”, with tribes/clans as good verities for society grouping, but not for negative divisions to the nation. Only to people with basic values of nationalism, such as: (1) morality, (2) love, (3) self-reliance and (4) unity; PEOPLE who lives in the TRIANGLE-LOVE, as the Lord Jesus said, “Love the LORD your God
love your neighbor, as [you love] yourself” (Mt 22:34 – 40)

So, let’s ALL join in building our nation by preaching these positive values, such that our people enjoy the blessings of God, even in this life, leave alone the life to-come.

Finally, it was a blessing to be back and fellowship with the people of God in my former leadership’s region. May the LORD bless the SAINTS abundantly to be a blessing to the nation: with peace, health and unity; and to prepare themselves and others for the soon return of our Lord and King Jesus Christ, as He said: “Yes, I am coming soon. Amen! Even so, come Lord Jesus.” (Rev 22:200

Be blessed and be a blessing to others.

Dear SSUM Staffs,

Our goal of doubling membership from 85,000 to 170,000 in 2030, can be break-down to add 17,000 members a year. For this year, we baptized 2,695 last Quarter. So, we remain with 14,305 for this 2026. This requires more commitment from the Churches.

Baptism at Malith-thor.

Part one;

What happened in Malith-thor yesterday was the kind of story that silences every excuse. The followings were baptized.
‎1: Elijah Manyok Ajak ( Sultan)
‎2: Yar Ateny Mayen
‎3: Martha Yardit, whose faith encourage many.
‎
‎An elderly woman whose name was Martha, after a massive Sabbath celebration, chose to be baptized. Here’s the inspiration we have drawn from her as a true witness of Christ:
‎
‎It’s never too late to say “yes” to Christ
‎Age doesn’t disqualify you from new beginnings. She lived decades before this moment — decades of family, hardship, maybe even doubt. Yet today she told heaven and earth, “I’m starting now.”
‎
‎In the last days, complacency says “I’m too old to change” or “I’ve missed my chance.” She proves the Spirit still calls, and hearts can still answer, at 70, 80, 90+. God’s invitation doesn’t expire.
‎
‎Public faith beats private comfort
‎Baptism at old age isn’t convenient. Cold water, public eyes, frail body — she still went down into it. After a “massive celebration” she could have gone home quietly. Instead she made her faith visible.
‎
‎2 Cor 3:2-3 says we are letters “known and read by everyone.” She became a living letter in Malith-thor today. In an age of secret Christianity, she reminds us that true witness costs comfort but wins souls. Children, neighbors, skeptics — they all saw it.
‎
‎Worship that doesn’t lead to obedience is just an event. Her baptism shows us the real fruit of revival decisions. In the last days, God is still moving entire villages when hearts are tender.
‎
‎One grandmother can shake a generation.
‎Old age means influence. She has children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren watching. When the matriarch of a family bows to Christ, lineages shift. Thrones in a household fall.
‎Nyaap Ajith📾,
to be continue........,..
