Meet Our Speaker – Mr. Daniel Duom Kelei Ayak

We are honored to host Mr. Daniel Duom Kelei Ayak, a distinguished legal scholar, lecturer, advocate, and thought leader committed to justice, leadership, and academic excellence. Daniel is currently an LLD/PhD Candidate at Nelson Mandela University and holds a Master of Laws (LL.M) from University of Dar es Salaam and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Kampala International University.

He serves as Deputy Dean of the College of Law at Starford International University in Juba, and is a member of the South Sudan Bar Association and the East Africa Law Society.

Beyond academia, Daniel is the Founding Managing Partner at Beacons of Light & Co. Advocates, Consultant at Eco-Lex Consulting Limited, Associate at United Edge (UK) focusing on environmental justice and human rights, and Director of Paradise Academy Secondary School in Juba. His professional journey spans academia, legal advocacy, and humanitarian protection work, where he has contributed to advancing justice, leadership, and community development.
