He has published fictional work online, in the past fifteen or so years, on AuthorMe, Sudanesink.com (Arabic), Warscapes, and The Guardian among others. He has also appeared in print, with his work featured in the BBC Focus on Africa magazine (2001) and in anthologies, notably: Author Africa 2009, compiled by Winona Rasheed (Cook Communication, 2009); There is a Country: New Fiction from the New Nation of South Sudan, edited by Nyuol Tong, part of McSweeney Quarterly Concern (Issue 43, 2013); I Know Two Sudans, edited by Djamela Majid et al (Gipping Press Ltd, London, 2014), and; Literary Sudans: An Anthology of Literature from Sudan and South Sudan, edited by Bhakti Shringarpure (Warscapes/ The Red Sea Press, 2016). He was involved with the African Writers’ Trust as a Publishing Fellow in 2018 and was a participant in the Manuscript Assessment Programme in 2020. Lukudu is presently working on his first collection of short fiction, as well as other writing. Apart from literature, he is a travel, music and sport enthusiast. He is currently based in South Sudan.
