Today marked the colourful inauguration of Central Equatoria's new Ministry of Animal Resources, Fisheries and Tourism headquarters, alongside a brand-new veterinary clinic.
The joyous occasion was graced by the State Governor, H.E. Emmanuel Adil Anthony, who officially presided over the ceremony.
This development signals a renewed commitment to animal health, sustainable tourism, and resource management in the state.

Dear Friends, Family, and Fellow citizens

As we stand at the threshold of a new year, I extend my warmest wishes to each of you for a joyful, prosperous, and peaceful 2026.

The past year has tested our resilience, but it has also revealed our strength. From the banks of the Nile to the vast savannahs of our countryside, our people have shown unwavering determination, compassion, and unity. I am deeply proud of the strides we have made together in nurturing our natural resources, empowering our communities, and preserving the beauty and bounty of our land.

In the coming year, we renew our commitment to building a South Sudan where every farmer, fisher, herder, and entrepreneur can thrive. We will continue to invest in sustainable practices, promote tourism that celebrates our rich heritage, and protect the animals and ecosystems that make our nation unique.
