A lot of balance can indeed be found in the technique, composition and color palette used. Underlying that balance, however, are often the raw emotions and internal conflicts I experience when confronted by the not so pretty social issues of our times. I try to draw attention to these by using vibrant colors in combination with an inner instinct for harmony.
